Obecně se má za to, že na otázky týkající se dobra a zla a toho, co je dobré a co špatné, nemůže odpovědět věda. Sam Harris však tvrdí, že věda může a měla by být autoritou, pokud jde o morální problémy, utváření lidských hodnot a vysvětlení toho, co patří k dobrému životu. The quote is from a collection of suggestions and instructions from leading literary translators and publishers edited by Gill Paul and published by Dalkey Archive Press. You can either buy it as a book or download in the PDF format free of charge. The six chapters deal with translation contracts, translators' challenges and roles, translation problems or editing problems. A very brief, but practical, readable book.
